PROJECTION

I took some reference photos and then tried to perspective correct (take a photo and make it into an orthorgraphic representation of an elevation) the image to bring into blender and use as a guide for proportional modelling.

With bringing the photos into photoshop I took to warping and blending them together using curve layer adjustments to colour match as best as possible. I was originally thinking I needed as high a resolution as possible to help both in an accurate model and then to later use it as a material texture on the model but in hindsight for the resolution of the projector one wide angle photo would have done

After blending the photos together and flattening into one layer or just taking a single wide photo the next part is warping with the help of using vertical and horizontal guide lines on main features of the church

Bringing the photo into blender as a background reference I modelled up the tower and body first as a low poly model and then went onto add in the different elements.

I've never been in the church so just made up the interior to help with content
